Darcy Grimes at the National Teacher of the Year announcement made by President Obama at the White House

THE PACER/PARENT INFORMATIONAL TRYOUT MEETING WILL BE MONDAY, MAY 20 @ 3:45 IN ROOM 2202 AT WHS.  This is for any rising 9th-12th grader interested in trying out for the 2013-14 Pacer Dance Team.

Melissa Miller was recently awarded a full tuition scholarship toward the completion of a master's degree at the University of Phoenix via
Bethel's Darcy Grimes, North Carolina Teacher of the Year.

The University of Phoenix recently gave more than 50 State Teachers of the Year an opportunity to give even more of themselves. Fifty-four teachers were given the opportunity to gift a deserving individual a full-tuition scholarship toward the completion of an undergraduate or master’s degree at University of Phoenix with a Teaching It Forward scholarship. These scholarships allow the educators to “teach forward” their award by providing deserving individuals from their communities with an opportunity to pursue higher education.  Thank you Mrs. Grimes for continuing to support our teachers, students and community at Bethel!
